A brighter future is in your hands.  We’re currently seeking a Landscape Laborer. Nursery Laborer conducts nursery operations as instructed by the Nursery Foreman. Laborer is familiar with and abides by all branch safety policies and programs and emphasizes safety in all activities.  

What you'll do:

• Watering
• Hand weeding and clean up
• Consolidation and lining out
• Setting posts and wires
• Light construction work
• Follow instructions completely
• Follow work plan as directed by Nursery Foreman
• Satisfactorily completes assigned tasks within budgeted timeframe
• Works within all branch safety policies and emphasizes safety in all activities

Skills we're seeking:

• Work from elevated heights such as an 8’ A-frame ladder
• Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.)
• Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day
• Understands horticultural process and practices, ensures plant quality and appearance meet standards.
• Satisfactorily completes assigned tasks within budgeted timeframe.
• Works within all branch safety policies and emphasizes safety in all activities
